About Production Art Services

Production Art Services was begun on a principle that, as graphic artists can make beautiful designs and printers can bring those designs to fruition, no one in the industry had realized that the step between the artist and the printer was being overlooked. Production artists are more than just people who set up files for print. They take a graphic designer’s work and make it printable.

Most often, designers have no printing experience. They design files that look beautiful on screen but fail to print properly or, at times, even print at all. The production artist must break apart the designer’s work, troubleshoot the issues and put it back together to make a printable product.

Production Art Services has artists that have been in the printing industry for 30 years or more, and some are even generational. Their parents, even their grandparents are/were printers, strippers, layout techs, typesetters and graphic designers, before there was InDesign or PageMaker or Quark Express. And that sets us apart from others in the industry.

But Production Art Services goes even further than production art. We offer a wide range of products and services that are not only art, but ready for print or web.
